Throughout the years we have spent in the medical field, we have accumulated a significant number of research papers, academic book contributions as well as teaching experience.
Dr. Konstantinos Pikramenos earned his Doctoral Degree from the University of Athens upon the completion of his thesis focusing on Prostate Cancer.
Dr. Dionisios Pikramenos attained his Doctoral Degree from the University of Athens following the completion of his thesis on Bladder Cancer.
Collectively, we have achieved more than 300 bibliographic references (citations) in scientific papers written by colleagues, across a range of medical specialties. Our dedication to research has resulted in authoring over 40 published papers in Greek journals as well as more than 35 published papers in International journals.
Additionally, we have presented a total of over 90 scientific papers at Greek conferences and more than 30 papers at International Urology conferences.
Moreover, we have participated in more than 80 International and Greek training seminars, along with over 50 International and Greek conferences as observers, presenters, instructors and chairs.
Finally , we have actively participated in training programmes for medical and nursing students, nursing staff and doctors in training.

Volunteering
Mobile Medical Center, Ekumfi Community, Ghana, Africa
In collaboration with the charitable organisation “Global Brigades”, our team traveled to the Ekumfi Community in Ghana. During our time there, we had the opportunity to contribute to the setting up of a mobile medical unit. Through its effective operation, we were able to deliver fundamental medical services, administer vaccinations, and conduct essential medical examinations for the local residents and members of the community. The overarching goal of our mission was to introduce the local population to Western medicine, many of whom had never encountered a doctor in their lives. In addition to providing essential medical services, we also distributed supplies, medications and drinking water. Furthermore, we conducted seminars to educate residents on vital hygiene practices and preventive measures that could enhance the overall well-being of the community.
Blood and Bone Marrow Donation Day, Athens, Greece
In partnership with “Bloode” and “Elpida”, we actively took part in the planning and coordination of a blood donation day, accompanied by the registration of volunteer bone marrow donors. The event was hosted by the Moraitis School Alumni Association. Our main goal extended beyond securing participants for blood and bone marrow donations as we also aimed to raise public awareness about the critical demands and pressing supply issues within the country’s blood donation units, bone marrow registries, and organ transplant programs. Youth Immunization in Eastern Thrace, Greece
In collaboration with “Mission Anthropos” and “Moraitis School”, we participated in the coordination of a two-day event dedicated to raising funds for the vaccination of children and teenagers in Eastern Thrace. The successful culmination of this event not only allowed us to achieve our immediate goal but also provided a platform to extend support to vulnerable communities.
Medical Support to Isolated Aegean Islands, Greece
With a multidisciplinary team of various medical specialities and nursing staff, we had the opportunity to offer essential healthcare to the residents of remote islands across the Aegean Sea. In many of these isolated communities, access to medical care is often limited. To tackle this issue, we aimed to offer basic medical services and examinations directly to the communities by organising a mobile medical care unit. The residents of these islands face significant challenges, often expected to travel by boat in order to gain access even to the most fundamental medical examinations. Regrettably, this can lead to critical emergencies remaining untreated due to the lack of immediate care.
Olympic and Paralympic Games, Athens 2004, Greece
During the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, we had the honour of serving as volunteers, contributing to the running of the Games. We were involved in the organization, support for smooth conduction of competitions, and the successful completion of events. Furthermore, we provided valuable support to Paralympic athletes throughout their participation in the Games.
